From Whence It Came

OK, so we lied. We did shutdown and disappeared for sometime.
But now we're comin' back!
Once we've acclimatised ourselves to six years in the future, we'll be populating our Shop again and renew our commitment to bringing more Prettys to new happy homes.

A Very Long Break

No we haven't close shop, or gone on a very long vacation.  We took a break although our shop was still up and running, we didn't really list new, new items.  We had a big move in the Summer and another in the Winter.  Packing, organizing, then unpacking and reorganizing, lots of work. Oh ya, working full time as well.
Don't fear, we will have an update soon!  But until then we will show some pics of they many things that will  go up in the SHOP.  So here we go!!!

Some Pictures from the Craft Show

The Thomas Middle School Craft Show we attended on November 21 went well. It was the first show we have ever done together. With that said it was great to gain some experience and get a feel for the craft show world. We met a few fellow Etsy seller which was nice to see the faces behind the crafts. We realized right away that we had too many items for our small table. But we managed to have a bit of everything that we sell to give people a feel for our shop.
We did have a few sales, our vintage Adds from the 50's and 60's, our Fraggle Rock and Muppets vintage books, as well as our vintage Tea Towel Calendars were our biggest hits. We had a good day and lots of fun.

Craft Show!!!

Sorry we have not written for awhile, we have been in a deep coma....i'm just kidding.
Actually we have been working and preparing ourselves for this great Craft Show! A fellow Esty seller offered us a table at the Thomas Street Middle School 2nd Annual Craft Show, in Mississauga. Over 60 vendors with lots of cool gift to pick up. So come check it out.
At our table we will have some fantastic items for sale - vintage Harlequin paperback gift packs, vintage ads from the 60's/70's/80's, vintage children books of all sorts, vintage Fisher Price Little People, handmade rings, jewellery, pouches and much more.

In The Beginning...

..."there was Fire, and Ice, and the Earth cracked and the multitudinous Prettys sprung forth and covered the lands...
and now, Prettys are everywhere. You see them in the Air, and in the Water, in a Curio Cabinet, or at a Garage Sale. They are Everywhere you look - if you have the Eyes to see them".

We are V & C. We began this operation when our love of all things pretty became too much for us to handle. Before, we selfishly hoarded all things pretty away, for only us to enjoy. NOW, we have let them loose upon the world! We find and make the things that WE love, and pass them on to you. This is who we are:
V is for voraciously vacuuming up a variety of vintage valuables with vigor and vigilance. He is male. Born in 1973 with Vikings in his heart.
C is for caringly crafting a cavalcade of culturally composed creations with continuous cuteness. She is a girl. Born in 1975 with Colours in her soul.
